💻 Blog article: 10 tips to live-stream your wedding (December 2020)
I worked for Brickhouse KL, a local events company, to help them map out their sales and marketing strategy for a new digital product. During that time, I wrote this article on tips to help couples navigate the tech side of live-streaming a wedding.

✍️ Blog article: Travel trends that will drive tour, activity & attraction bookings in 2020 and 2021 (October 2020)
To promote our most recent ebook, I wrote an article to highlight key findings in the report, important takeaways and practical tips for operators to put into practice in their businesses. The goal was to give readers a glimpse of the content to encourage them to download and read the full report.
📗 Blog article: Should your tour company run virtual tours and experiences? (April 2020)
The industry was getting excited at the prospect of virtual tours, though at that time, no one knew if it was actually profitable. Given that industry leaders like Airbnb and GetYourGuide were pushing operators to run virtual tours, sell it through their platforms, and take a commission off each sale, the conversation around virtual tours seemed disproportionally optimistic.
I wanted to tackle the topic in a neutral manner, to present the pros and cons of pivoting to virtual experiences, and provide useful resources for operators who wanted to take this on.

📕 Blog article: Managing cancellations and refunds for tours and activities (March 2020)
The pandemic hit our European customers hard at the beginning of March. Although many companies stopped receiving bookings, they continued to issue refunds. With dwindling cashflows, operators could not afford the high volume of refunds if they wanted to survive the downturn.
I wrote this article to create awareness around cancellations and refunds, and to propose alternative solutions to help operators stay afloat. It was well received 1,128 view in the first month, and was featured in an industry newsletter.

📺 Virtual conference: Tour and Activity Business School (April 2019)
I organised TrekkSoft’s first ever Tour and Activity Business School to create content that could help operators grow their businesses, not to just get over the initial “startup” phase. I also wanted to shift the conversation from “growth hacks” and “quick wins” to practical daily actions that contribute to long-term success.
I was responsible for ideation, planning and execution, from finding speakers and preparing course content, to email marketing and promotion of the course, to reporting on ROI after we wrapped up. Submission rate was at 59% in the first month of launch.

🍕 Craving a Slice of Home Away From Home (Sept 2020)
This is a travel essay I wrote as part of the Days To Come Editorial Mentorship Programme that I participated in this August.
Having spent much of my 20s missing home while I studied and travelled abroad, I was surprised to find myself missing foreign places I did not grow up in. Through this essay, I explore what it means to find home away from home through food.
